British actor Chiwetel Ejiofor won the Best Ator award at the just concluded BAFTAs and Enugu State (Nigeria) where his family is originially from deided to take a full page ad. in Nigerian national daily, The Sun.
When Chiwetel was interviewed by Ellen DeGeneres, he reportedly said, "I'm from London.... But my family is Nigerian".
So what's the fuzz about? The man said he's British.
Even if he's Nigerian, does he read The Sun? Is there any chance of him ever seeing the ad? Was the space for free? Is that money well spent as regards other things the state could have spent that money on?
