Kim Kardashian's Tips for the Perfect Valentine's Day Gift

Kim Kardashian shared her Valentine's Day favorites with Los Angeles Confidential. Find the excerpts below.

Tell us why you love Valentine's Day, and what’s the best gift you’ve ever received?

KIM KARDASHIAN: Valentine’s Day is all about showing the people around you how much you love them, so the gifts that come from the heart are always the most special. One year, Mason [Kourtney Kardashian's son] gave me the most adorable Valentine’s Day card that he made himself, and it is still one of the best gifts I’ve ever received. Our Kardashian Kollection charm bracelets are whimsical and fun and—paired with a heartfelt note—are perfect Valentine’s Day gifts. My sisters and I each designed a bracelet unique to our style. Mine is a padlock charm and Kourtney and Khloe chose a heart and lips for theirs.

Do you, your sisters, and your mom exchange Valentine’s Day gifts?

KK: My family loves to go all out for all holidays, and Valentine’s Day is no exception. My mom always gives us chocolate and candy—simple, sweet gifts.

What are your V-Day date tips for guys?

KK: It almost doesn’t matter what you are doing. It's about whom you are with and the thoughtfulness . . . even if it’s cooking a favorite meal or going to his or her favorite place!

How do you get dressed for a romantic Valentine's Day date?

KK: I love a white or nude palette. It is sexier and not as expected as red on Valentine’s Day.

Candy and flowers are synonymous with Valentine’s Day. What are your favorites?

KK: I LOVE See's candy milk chocolate hearts. My mom and dad used to give them to me every year. And I always love white flowers, gardenias, white roses—anything white.

Which pieces from your Kardashian Kollection for Sears would you recommend for Valentine's Day gifting?

KK: Our monogram bangles are personalized and look great stacked. Our three-piece ring set with a heart and the words ‘Love’ and ‘Muah’ is another fun option.
